TL;DR: Quadruple-dip on rewards through Seated, Yelp, Idine, and your Credit Card.

So you thought your automatic rewards on restaurants stopped at your 4% back on your new Uber credit card?

Nah, there’s more 😉

The best part of all these steps is that once you set it up, you can just watch the cash back roll in without putting in any more work 🙂

Step 1: Get Rewards when Reserving

If you live in a major US city, get rewards through the Seated* app (download it on your phone!). Then when you make reservations at a restaurant, get $10-$60 in Amazon/Starbucks/Lyft gift cards! It sounds too good to be true, but it’s real.

Otherwise if the restaurant isn’t there, you can use OpenTable to book your reservation. You’ll get on average 100 pts (equivalent to $1) per reservation. Make sure to book the reservation through OpenTable directly, and not through the restaurant that links to OpenTable.

Step 2: Join the Dining Rewards Network

Join the rewards network! While there are many options, I think Idine is the best in both rewards and ease in usage. Simply make an account, link your credit cards, and get 5-10% back on every trip to a restaurant within their network (which is a lot of restaurants).

Step 3: Join Yelp’s CashBack program

Make an account at Yelp, then go to your profile at the top right corner and click on “Cash Back”. Follow the instructions to link a credit card and start automatically earning up to 10% back on all participating restaurants!

Now for the real bargain hunters, you can go even further by searching for coupons on Groupon or Restaurant.com to really get’em. Why not stretch your dollar as much as you can!
