Uber Rewards: Freebird
TL;DR: Freebird is an app that offers cash back on your Uber Rides. Freebird is an app you can download on your phone get points towards Uber rides. Ordering through the app means you can get up to about $1.25 back (on top of all our other rewards). It offers extra cash back if you pick one of their suggested locations, and link the credit card you’ll use to spend at said location. To redeem, once you have $10 worth of points, you can connect a debit card to allow them to transfer your funds over. You can also get $5 back twice a week for riding home. You have to…

Check out Drop!
TL;DR: The Drop rewards app is awesome, and probably the best app of its kind. The Drop Rewards app was mentioned in the starter guide but deserves a deeper dive. The main feature: You can select 5 brands to automatically earn around 1% back with. For example, I get rewarded with Uber, Lyft, Seamless, Target, and Starbucks. Then all you have to do is link a credit card and watch your rewards grow. This is in addition to any credit card or other cash back bonuses! On top of that, after every 5 times you’re rewarded points, you can “Supercharge” and play the Snake game to earn more bonus points (check…

More Uber Credits
TL;DR: Get $1 back per ride for Uber through Samsung Pay. Remember that Samsung pay app we talked about earlier? Whenever you want to get an Uber, log into Uber through the Samsung Pay app to get $1 in cash back per ride. These credits add up with others and you can redeem it once you hit $5. So to recap: Uber rides now will get you $1 through Samsung Pay, $2 in Sears credit through Shop Your Way, and 2% back through your Uber Visa card. Not bad! Just make sure you get this in before the promotion ends mid-November. Happy Uber’ing, TheJKW

Dosh: Another Savings App :)
TL;DR: Download Dosh and connect a credit card to start passively earning cash back! Just like the Drop and SPENT Money apps previously mentioned, Dosh is another app where you passively earn cash back as you spend. They seem to have a focus on restaurants, but do offer a wide selection of stores as well. You also start off with $5 just for getting the app! Dosh does, however, clash with Yelp CashBack and any other apps that run on Mogul in the background. You can only link your credit cards to one of these at a time – so if you also have those, I’d suggest strategically linking cards to different apps…

Samsung Pay
TL;DR: Pay for your purchases through Samsung Pay for both convenience and extra cash back. There’s been a growing trend to use your phones to pay instead of physical credit cards. The most popular programs have been Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. They’re great because we’re moving towards having everything in one place, so maybe one day you won’t have to bring your wallet around all the time! However, the best of these programs is Samsung Pay due to its rewards program. You get $5 back after your first purchase, but after that you can accumulate points. At a certain point, you get 20 points per transaction (which…

Harris Poll Online: ShopTracker
TL;DR: Earn $3 a month for Selling Your Amazon Spending Habits ShopTracker is a program (through the Harris Poll App) that tracks your Amazon spending habits, and in return, gives you $3 in (virtual) prepaid Visa cards. You can download through your app store on your phone and sign up through email. These kinds of programs are controversial because – well – what’re they doing with your data? I personally find it somewhat innocuous but obviously up to you to decide. I’m cool with collecting $3 a month for doing nothing. You can find out more about it here. Happy passive earning, TheJKW
