Bonvoy!
TL;DR: Mariott Bonvoy is a rewards program that gives free stuff for staying at Mariott, SPG, and other hotels. Rewarding you with 10 pts per $1 spent, with reward nights starting at around 5k points, it’s really quite the program! There are also tiers with silver status starting with just 10 nights. As you progress, the main benefits are faster point accumulation, later checkouts, potential room upgrades, and gifts. If you think you’re going to be staying somewhere soon reach out to me and if I’ll give out referral codes while I still have them, which give out more bonus points. Happy Bonvoy’ing, TheJKW

Skiplagged
TL;DR: Expand your flight search with the Skiplagged app/website. Ever wonder why a connecting flight from A->B->C is sometimes cheaper than the A->B flight? Airlines try to take advantage of supply/demand of specific destinations, which is why sometimes this happens. However, if you want to take that cheaper flight and just leave in the middle at “B”, you can do that! Skiplagged helps you search for these “hidden” flights. Happy Skiplagging, TheJKW

Square Cash Card
TL;DR: Square Cash is an app like Venmo, but has deals with their debit card! Sign up for the card that comes with the account to get rotating discounts like 10% back on Doordash, or $1 off coffee shops. Shoutout to my coworker Spauld for finding this! Happy Square’ing, TheJKW

Lolli
TL;DR: it’s like Mr.Rebates but gives bitcoin. Lolli gives cash back in bitcoin at potentially higher rates. It’s rather new so I don’t have much to say, but maybe worth checking out. I was mainly interested in the 9% back in Groupon. Happy Lolli’ing, TheJKW

Trunow: get 1-2% back on gas
TL;DR: Download the Trunow app to start getting 1-2% back on gas. Once you download the app*, any time you purchase gas all you have to do is upload the receipt. You get 2% back for gas from any of their partners, and 1% back on any other gas receipts. There are other deals on the app too but I haven’t found that worth my time. Happy Saving! TheJKW *Use code MT34O3 to start off with $0.5.

$10 Lyft credit for every 5 rides
TL;DR: Enroll with Lyft to get $10 back for every 5 rides you pay with a World Elite Mastercard. Lyft‘s now offering $10 in Lyft credit for every 5 rides within a month you pay with a World Elite Mastercard. Recommended cards in this category are the Citi Double Cash, and the CapitalOne SavorOne cards. There are others too, so check your wallet! Of course, I’d still compare the prices of Uber vs. Lyft in your area (as this benefit is worth a maximum of $2 per ride), but this is a great bump if you’re used to using Lyft. Don’t forget to compound your earnings with Drop and Freebird!…

PlaySpot: Earn to play games
TL;DR: Earn by playing games This is pretty similar to other “play to earn” apps, but seems to reward you bigger. Download PlaySpot here. Happy Game’ing! TheJKW P.S. Tune in next week for a special post

Earn $0.30+/Gallon on Gas
TL;DR: GetUpside is a new startup that is offering $0.30+/Gallon on gas. Use promo code BU7YS to get even more when you first start out. GetUpside is a relatively new startup that gives away $0.30+/Gallon on gas. All you have to do is scan your receipts. Not bad! You can use that in conjunction with your Duck’s Unlimited card (to get 5% back on your purchase as well). The cash back accumulates on your GetUpside account, and when you hit at least $1, you can cash out via PayPal (or with gift cards). GetUpside also offers cash back on Groceries and Restaurants. However, it’s relatively new so cash back programs…

Walgreens Rewards
TL;DR: Get an account. Get some discounts. Clip the weekly coupon! Walgreens are everywhere, and I personally purchase way too many things from my local one. If you haven’t already, sign up for an account. They’ll give you 1% back on every purchase, and all you have to do is give a phone number so they can identify you. As of now, this is also the only place I’d recommend giving your email for weekly emails. They almost always have some kind of coupon ($5 back if you spend $25, $7 back if you spend $25, 10x points, etc…) that’s general enough it takes seconds to clip online and save…

Getting discounts online
TL;DR: CashBack Monitor When you make purchases online, ever wonder how you could maximize returns? Of course, you can use credit cards. But beyond that, you can get cash back simply by using these other sites to refer you. The old reliable one I use is Mr. Rebates. It has Amazon and Expedia in particular. But you can also just check CashBack Monitor to get whatever’s best in general for whatever you’re buying. Happy Cashback’ing! TheJKW
