Aerospace FCU Credit Card
Edit: Seems like this has some pretty stringent restrictions TL;DR: this It seems new, but it boasts 5% back on gas, 4% on restaurants and entertainment, 3% back on travel, and 2% back on everything else with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee. For most people, this renders most other credit cards redundant. (Annual limits apply to each category, but for the majority of the US population those are irrelevant). Shoutout to my coworker Spaulding for this seriously nice find! Happy ACFU’ing, TheJKW

Bonvoy!
TL;DR: Mariott Bonvoy is a rewards program that gives free stuff for staying at Mariott, SPG, and other hotels. Rewarding you with 10 pts per $1 spent, with reward nights starting at around 5k points, it’s really quite the program! There are also tiers with silver status starting with just 10 nights. As you progress, the main benefits are faster point accumulation, later checkouts, potential room upgrades, and gifts. If you think you’re going to be staying somewhere soon reach out to me and if I’ll give out referral codes while I still have them, which give out more bonus points. Happy Bonvoy’ing, TheJKW

$1k a month?
TL;DR: for your chance to win Presidential candidate Andrew Yang is offering 10 “freedom dividends” paying $1k a month for a year, to promote his UBI agenda. Look, this is not necessarily an endorsement. I’m just saying this guy’s giving out free money. Happy Freedom’ing! TheJKW

Skiplagged
TL;DR: Expand your flight search with the Skiplagged app/website. Ever wonder why a connecting flight from A->B->C is sometimes cheaper than the A->B flight? Airlines try to take advantage of supply/demand of specific destinations, which is why sometimes this happens. However, if you want to take that cheaper flight and just leave in the middle at “B”, you can do that! Skiplagged helps you search for these “hidden” flights. Happy Skiplagging, TheJKW

Just download the app
TL;DR: So many stores and chains have a loyalty program. Just go look for it. Whenever you’re shopping in some big chain and think – do you they have a loyalty program? They probably do. And if you go a lot, it’s almost certainly worth getting into their rewards program. My first thing is to just search the brand in the app store. Next I google if they have a referral bonus, and Google for them. That’s it. Happy Earning, TheJKW

Square Cash Card

Lolli
TL;DR: it’s like Mr.Rebates but gives bitcoin. Lolli gives cash back in bitcoin at potentially higher rates. It’s rather new so I don’t have much to say, but maybe worth checking out. I was mainly interested in the 9% back in Groupon. Happy Lolli’ing, TheJKW

Applying to multiple credit cards at the same time
TL;DR: Don’t do it. I think it can be tempting to want to apply to multiple credit cards on your credit card wish list at the same time, especially if you’ve been pre-approved and/or your credit score is high enough. Speaking from personal experience, I tried this once where I applied to 3 on the same night. I got instantly approved to my first one. I got approved after a couple days to my second one, with a significant cut in my credit limit. My third credit card was approved after a week and the credit limit was just $500. My credit score also cratered 40 points to a place…
